Description
The objective of the WW2 - Duty to remember project, my diploma work, is to highlight the objects of the Second World War in an immersive way and to provide historical additions to them.
The site opens with an archive edit whose voice-over, written and recorded specifically for the project, evokes the tools of this war and introduces the idea of preservation that animates today's collectors of these goods.
The user then accesses a database of technical information on vehicles, weapons and clothing that provides many details on their manufacture, and the reason for their appearance during the war.
Those multiple informations can be consulted on interactive photographic scenes aimed at recreating the atmosphere of the Second World War, intensified by varied soundscapes.
